There could be the possibility that the teams would suffer a points penalty, but the drivers wold not. 8)

If they cancelled the Michelin teams points for the Championship,that would leave 6 drivers eligible for WDC points....

I don't know how much in the eyes of the FIA this farce compares to the Ferrari farce in Austria

At the time Ferrari were faced with the charge of bringing the sport into disrepute yet they got away with a fine.

What happened IMHO was worse than the Ferrari thing but Michelin and their teams tried to find a solution.

Ferrari in Austria or Mclaren in Australia,is the same thing.These team orders to their drivers does not bring the sport into disrepute to the extent as the US GP,only because these team orders came at the end of the race.
But here the teams didnt start the race :twisted:

I seriously think its Max ego & Michelins trying to bully him by threatning to pullout,which created this farsce & a solution was never reached.
