Huh! This is very confusing!!

What is the purpose of this ? Why not allow refuelling at the end of the session. Can someone explain ?
Probably best if no-one does. Too much information might cause you to tip incorrectly
What ? I'll be picking The Cute for Pole all season, too much information or not
Still I need an explanation for the no refuelling for the top 10 ?

Julian, picking Alonso for Pole was the safest bet this year and that will be the same next year. And therefore I will be picking The Cute for Pole next season.

The only blind thing I do is not pick Bambino Driver

Lol, thats what they did to Ferrari the last couple of years.
But the Michelins will still win next year. Alonso The Cute is with them :D
Keep in mind, that a few very senior engineers from Michelin have left the company. This is probably why Toyota and Williams have switched to Bridgestone.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

That is extremely loyal of you, given that it is new formula,Michelin have lost some of their best technicians, Bridgestone now have a lot more "data gatherers". Would that I had someone so loyal to me :D

They haven't just lost them, they have gone to the other side.

Gerald Brussoz has been with Michelin since 1993 and with the Competition Department since 1997 - Ferrari

Pascal Vasselon former head of Michelin's F1 programme - Toyota.

Not to mention Pierre Dupasquier who led the company in F1 for many years

It's one thing to lose your top engineers, its another thing to see them working with the enemy.

Geez, Rah, I was breaking it to JV gently. One piece of bad news at a time, I thought. Sensitivity n all that. Some of us might like to kick others while they are down, down around the 400 in eight n pole say, But I like to think of myself as a tad more considerate. 8)

Everyone (I am talking about the so called experts) thought the single tyre rule would help Ferrari and Bridgestone but the clever people at Michelin proved them wrong.

People move all the time, it just depends if the media wants to hype up the moves or not.

The people you mention are valuable yes but they seem to be going to teams and not Bridgestone which tells me that they aren't privy to the secret component stuff (you know the black magic Michelin produces :D :D ). I reckon those who know the secrets would be hidden in a lab somewhere!!

The tyres will certainly be closer next year (because Bridgestone can only produce a tyre that lasts 20 or so laps   ). All the better so people don't give certain drivers any excuse

Considerate placing the reigning World Champion in 6th for the first race next season. Where is the consideration :blah: :blah:

Bad news, what bad news

Pierre is retiring, Pascal left Michelin mid season if I recall correctly and Gerald, well he's going to Ferrari so he must be no good

JV you do not seem to understand that this years black stuff, compounds, construction et are now being shredded for playgrounds. Not one single piece of data is applicable to the tyres being produced for the 06 chassis' used by any team  It is an even playing field

Julian I do agree that they are different. But I certainly don't agree with your statement that not on single piece of data is applicable.

Anyway, this season's black stuff, compounds, construction et al where nothing compared to last season's. Look at what Michelin did compared to Bridgestone ? I am sure the same will happen next year but it will be closer because Bridgestone seem to be able to produce 20 lap tyres.

On a technical level, Bridgestone were hopeless. This year was a disaster for them. At the start they said they didn't have much testing data and they will get it right from mid season. Well they didn't even get it right in the last race in China. That is the worst result and I can't understand how anyone would be hopeful of a turnaround from them. Of course for Webber's sake you can hope Julian but the boys at Renault, McLaren, BAR and BMW aren't stupid.

Don't really care, perhaps you and many others didn't think much of The Cute before but he proved many wrong and his latest performance in China left no doubt that he is one of the best out there (to me his is the best).
Unless for some strange reason you are assuming Renault will get it very wrong next season, you are just trying to stir things up

Just remember, Renault won the Constructor's title in just 4 years. No team in recent history has done that. Write them off and you'll target 800 in 8 'n' Pole

Well, its nice to see some1 being a die-hard fan of Alonso with just 1WDC :D
Everything for them surrounds HIM :D Best car,all pole position, all race wins, fastest laps etc.etc.etc.

Pls dont point a finger at a Bambino fan or rule changes in favour of Ferrari, scared is it????
For the past 3yrs,rules have been changed to make sure Red is not the final picture which finally paid off in 2005.Tyres played a major part, but still a Good Season. Some great races...A new champion, fantastic.

New rules set for next year, and insecurity suddenly creeps in....what if its not in favour of my drivers, will we see the old King return???
An F1 Idiot!!!
