Just been to Villeneuve's web site and he says on the confirmation
I am very happy, but it is what I have been expecting all along because there was a contract in place. I am still very motivated, which is why I signed the two-year deal with Sauber last year ... I came back to Formula One to be successful, unfortunately the Sauber was not as competitive this year as we all had thought it could be. I expect that, with the increased budget that BMW can offer, we can improve steadily, because Sauber is a very efficient team already. I'm really looking forward to working with the team in 2006, and really feel it is going to be a fantastic year
And about Heidfeld:
I didn?t really have any contacts with Nick apart from the usual business at the track but I like Nick?s personality and I thing that he is a good driver too. He has been quite impressive on a few occasions so I am looking forward to working with him

BMW Sauber driver Jacques Villeneuve set the fastest time of the day ahead of McLaren's test driver Pedro de la Rosa and Toyota's test driver Ricardo Zonta.
5 Formula 1 teams and 10 Formula 1 drivers were present.

Jacques Villeneuve set a time of 1:18.752 in the V8 powered BMW Sauber interim car. His time was the fastest so far on this track by a V8 powered Formula 1 car.

Well I don't know about everyone else, but I am always happy to eat my words.

If he takes some of that speed into next year, then more power to him.

I still think he is soft though.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

There are some who discount JV regardless

He has a great chance next season and I hope he makes the best of it.

Can't help it. If it makes you feel any better, I have been discounting him since he started in F1.

Soft as a driver.

Lol Yeah I know, but thats just me isn't it. There are some drivers that people do not like for no reason. JV is mine. Although I still don't think he has done anything impressive. If its any consolation, I never thought that Mika was that great either, and he has a few more acheivements in his belt than JV.
