Wurz is on the track and sets the fastest sector time on for Rosberg to go fastest in the 1st sector

Wurz goes second but Rosberg goes fastest dropping Wurz to 3rd.

Rosberg sets a time of 1:34.352. Kubica takes 3rd with a 1:34.590

Alonso jumps straight into second with the fastest 2nd and 3rd sector.

He sets a 1:34.340

Fisichella is 6th

And Alonso goes fastest on his second flying lap with a 1:33.579. Over 0.6 seconds ahead of Rosberg.

Alonso pits after 5 laps while Michael pits after 4 laps.

Early signs of another Alonso Schumacher battle ?

The rest are far behind although Button has yet to set a lap time this session.

Track temperature has dropped to 38 degrees.
