I am firmly of the belief that Ralf is employed by the Cologne (Germany) based Toyota team for reasons other than his ability to hit the same piece of Indiana architecture, in the same spot, two years running.
Great effort Julian Mayo, you now blam ralf because of blown tyres, mistake which michalin scream on air that its problem, did you see what i mean? you just want to blam, that all.

Year before last wasn't michelin to blam.
in 2004 tyre deflation caused by deprise
see race report from grandprix.com http://www.grandprix.com/gpe/rr722.html

as i quote " Ralf Schumacher augured into the wall at the final corner after a rear tyre deflated, almost certainly because of debris from the shunt"

and motorsport.com /
{http://www.motorsport.com/magazine/feat ... 2004-06-23}

as i quote from Nikki Reynolds comment "Ralf's crash was caused by the same thing as Alonso's -- debris from the first pile-up producing a puncture."

so its the tyre.

Senna, Jim Clark, Jack Brabham, Nigel,Alain Prost, Alonso et al, not to mention my blind Uncle Fred, who insists on driving the "paddock basher" when he has had a few would have kept it off the wall

I too would like to play the blam game.
Toyota is to blam.
Why?
Because thay persist with 2 good drivers, but a driver combination which will never allow them to win races, let alone championships.
The styles and preferences of the 2 drivers are so different that the car will never be developed fully in one direction or another.
Earlier in the season when Ralph was going well, Jarno was crying about the way the car feels. Now, with the latest developments, the car is better suited to Jarno and Ralph is strugling to find a good setup resulting in lack of faith in the car.
If a driver has no confidence in the car he wont get results. (Julian excluded as I get the feeling he would drive the wheels off anything  )

Toyota need to hire 2 drivers with similar driving styles and likes/dislikes in the way a car feels, only then they will be able to develop the car to the drivers strengths and start winning races.

If this means dropping Ralph so be it!

In My Humble Opinion 8)
Good sight, but i don't think every team have tow driver with the same preferance it is to the driver to adjust his driving style with time according to the car behaviors but teams develop cars according to the driver feed back, so with time it become suitable for them.
and you don't need to hide, i stop biting since last monday .

traditionally a team will start with the preferred set up for each driver in his car.
As soon as one driver gains an asendency in the points over the other, the development of the car is biased towards that driver. In some teams it might have to be a biiger points margin, than in other teams.
If Massa was leading Alonso now, and Scummaker was nowhere, Massa would be getting development parts geared to his particular style.

Presactly :!:
Problem starts when you no longer have a single person in charge, but rather a committee as in the case of toyota

Let me understand that straight, You said that Senna, Jim Clark, Jack Brabham, Nigel,Alain, Prost, Alonso and your blind Uncle Fred, can control car with blown tyre at 280 km/hr with about 3.5 G-force. fantastic so they are not human, they are superman.
Please be sense.
