So for McLaren and Willimas (which look fast here) is very important to Q ahead of Renault... I expect bambinos and BAR stuck behind Renault...
I see what you mean. Actually not only the speed traps, the Renault is hard to overake as they are still the class of the field when it comes to traction out of corners.

It is only Friday though and the engines are tuned down!

Liuzzi & Karthikeyan - TOO SLOW!!! bad.

Klien fot the rest of the year!!!
Montagny to Jordan!!
If Montagny is that impressive others might want him!
Since renault have him favored over Bourdais, he is an obvious talent, and he should be MUCH faster then Narain and Tiago, especially since he can run low-fuel specials, and not think about his engine.

With all the Renault testing he has done the last 18 months, he most likely have covered at least 3 times as many miles in a F1 than either of the regular Jordan drivers.

He remains a Flavio contracted driver, and he willbe placed latest start next season, in a full season race seat. Then 2007 he will be a Renault driver.

Michael Schumacher had an electrical problem in second practice

Ross Brawn:
We had an electrical problem on Michael?s car, which we have yet to analyse. It meant we lost the second half of the afternoon session, which was a shame.

I don't think it will be as straightforward for Montagny as K-D predicts... still it could be that way. :?

I think the only way would be if MS retires and Alonso goes to Ferrari, but there is still Fisichella... I think he'd stay at Renault in 2006/07... but who knows? ... this is an other thread... ;)
anyway.. Alonos in Ferrari and Fisichella out (from Renault) for 07, is too much for a predectible development of facts... Still.... could be...
