Order after 6 hours and the rain has returned!

The track dried towards the end of the day but not enough to improve the times significantly. Adrian Sutil took over from Paul di Resta at Force India.
There was another red flag which was caused by Barrichello.

The second day of testing at Jerez this week is about to start. Reports from the track is that it is raining!

The lineup for today is the same as yesterday except for:

Rosberg takes over from Schumacher in the Mercedes
Kovalianen takes over from Fauzy in the Lotus

those lap times don't say much, furthermore everyone are running tests, not fighting to see who can go fastest!

Now Massa goes fastest with a 1:28.879.

The session has been stopped as a result of Glock going off!

Prior to Glock going off, he had completed 15 laps already. That is more than what he did all day yesterday!!

The rain is getting worse!

Ferrari have just reported a problem with their car "the stop will not be short... Nothing serious but it will take time to sort it out"

Glock goes back out following his off. He completes an installation lap and returns to the pits.

Currently the track is so wet, the lap times are in near the 1:40!
