Fancy repeating the Spanish GP at Barcelona year after boring year when they have Jerez and Valencia both of which are beautiful circuits. Fancy giving the TV Direction to a complete novice Spanish director year after year. The list of idiot things in F1 is endless thanks to Max and Bernie and a supersubsonic idiot agreement! :x

It would have been more fun watching a funeral procession. :bcomp:
Basically the drivers got into their cars, drove around and around in order of vehicle performance, finished, pocketed another huge cheque and went home. Whoopybloodydo. :x Another triumph to Max.

WHERE WAS THE RAIN???

This is one of the tracks that should be watered rather than try to make an interesting race in dry conditions.

By the way, the driver performance and package performance were well readable here.

FERNANDO, MICHAEL, KIMI and JENSON definitely pushed their machines to the limit with sheer precision. Teamwise it looks like its going to be a battle for victory of just 2 teams this year. I feel MICHAEL will come out tops in the end...

FISICO and FELIPE with minor errors but in the Brazilians case more easily to be forgiven, being still on a learning curve, fastest lap a great bonus. FISICO is a fine driver but finally it must be clear to everyone he is no potential WDC.

RUBENS is coming to hand also and might still catch up on JENSONs level this season.

RALF is the No.1 at TOYOTA now definitely even with his fault bumping into his slower teammate and they are stronger than it seems, just minor things to be done and they are in the fight for being No.3 within the teams.

MCLAREN have to react very quickly if they dont want to lose out on 2006, they remind me on FERRARI 2005. Where are all the loud voices that claimed KIMI is the fastest man in F1 and MICHAEL becoming too slow? The car has its say, doesnt it?

Of others down the field, someone made the simple minded remark "who cares"? Well, as a F1 fan I certainly do care, and all 11 teams try as hard as they can and I respect that. NICO drove just as well as in the 1st GP where he got some votes for driver of the race. Just that noone of the topcars blew it today except MONTI. Fights for position 11 are good fun to watch and I wonder how GPs would look if only the cars capable of winning started?

Come MONACO, rain or not, even if it might be another strategy ladden procesion, more fun than in BARCELONA is guaranteed....

It is my humble opinion that there are going to be a lot of driver changes at the end of this season.

Whilst I doubt there will be many new comers I would expect a totally new line-up at mclaren with Fernando, Renault probably with Kimi. I wouldn't expect MW to hang around at Williams. If MS wins the WDC he MAY retire.

It was me who said who cares about the rest but i think you have taken it out of context. I was giving a run down of my thoughts on the teams & there chances to win or compete. In that regard there was no point me giving opinions on the rest as it is EXTREMELY unlikely they will score points
