Just off Trulli in the second and takes provisional pole with a 1:46.440!

Fisichella now!

Not so fast in the second sector and takes 2nd with a 1:46.497 just a fraction slower than Raikkonen!

Top 8: Montoya, Raikkonen, Fisichella, Trulli, Alonso, R Schumacher, M Schumacher and Massa.

Fisichella will start from 13th due to an engine change!

Pizzzonia is obviously faster than Webber, like all Webber's other team mates...must have been tyre pressures or some such that made him slower this time :twisted:

Formation lap for the Belgian Grand Prix in 15 minutes.

It isn't raining at the moment however the track is damp and most if not all the drivers will be starting the race on intermediates!

Montoya starts from Pole with Kimi Raikkonen alongside him. Trulli is 3rd with Alonso alongside him.

Fisichella was 3rd fastest however he will start 13th after incurring a penalty due to an engine change prior to qualifying.

Red Bull announced they made a deal to acquire Minardi and make it a "Rookie team" for Red Bull!

There is also the news that Williams have decided to switch to Bridgestone from next year.

And just a few hours ago, Michelin have threatened to pull out of Formula 1 at the end of the 2006 season if the FIA go ahead with their plans for a single tyre supplier from 2008.
