Session over and the top 8: Alonso, Fisichella, Raikkonen, Sato, Button, Webber, M Schumacher and Heidfeld

Full results

Monteiro covered the most laps with 15 followed by Friesacher with 14 and Alonso with 13.

Button, Massa and Trulli did the least number of laps with 5 each

Air temperature moves up to 28 degrees while track temperature is at 39 degrees

Session underway and no one is going out straight away!

Alonso was fastest in the first session followed by Fisichella and Raikkonen. Those three seemed to be in a league of their own in the first session!

Fisichella goes fastest with a 1:15.659. Webber takes second with a 1:16.198. Times continues to tumble!
