That thought had occured to me but I dismissed it, they really couldn't be that confident that kimi wasn't going to blast them into the weeds. He is still a bit of an unknown quantity and it would have been reckless to put a pole worthy car that far back on the grid, flying starts or no. You only have to look at what happened to Kimi to see the lunacy of that strategy, covert or not.

AHHH, my conspiracy theories run far deeper than yours. The Renault is magic off the line, so they plotted a position where hw would be up to 4th or 5th by turn 1. Then Nico said "here you go Ferdi, help yourself while I hang my teammate out to dry."

No-one has protested Ferrari's wing. Eight teams have requested a clarification of the rules from the FIA, two of those teams have similar so-called flexi wings that wil be subject to the same clarification.

it is a shame for the sport indeed, such dirty unsporting behaviour, dirty cheat, it made me sick when i saw it...

I think there must be more and stronger sanctions beside the delation of his Q-times...

SGD, I knew you were waiting for this...

There have been a few people always knocking the Champ, like Rosberg, Stewart, Montoya....and Briatore never got over losing Michael and losing against Michael.

Now this bunch got it their way, however if the situation was so clear - why did they have to discuss it for 7 or 8 hours? The telemetrical data just showed that Michael was too hard on the brake...

If he had been 3rd, nobody would have even bothered.

A silly decision but Michael showed he is still the quickest driver in F1 anyway.

I wouldn't expect anyting less, Greyhound. I have to admire your support for this cheat. For me, Schuie's brakes locked and he took the opportunity to try and influence the race in the way he has done time and time again.

For me, the move looked suspect. To all the drivers and to Martin Brundle and others in the know - they all saw it as a deliberate move. I wasn't convinced until I saw the after qually interview where Schumacher looked and acted like the guilty man he was. And guess what Greyhound - no-one, NO-ONE was surprised.

The sooner this awful cheating git leaves F1 the better. His remarkbale drive from the back to finish in the points has no effect on me. I couldn't care less. He should have been kicked out of the sport years ago when he drove Damon Hill off the road, bit no, he was allowed to get away with it. Indeed, he has got away with it for too long and on too many occasions. And even though I welcomed the punishment, it is far too little, far too late. You must accept that your man is nothing more than a cheat; by defending him the way you do, by playing it down and making light of it gives the message that cheating is okay. Afterall, it's only 'champ knocking' isn't it? But no, I believe it is a lot more tyan that. A helluva lot more.

The bottom line: He has always been a cheat and he always will be - I'm English/British and I'm afraid my natural sense of fair play that I share woth the majority of people on this island, means that his 'talent' is made worthless by his selfish, unsporting attitude and actions.

And, as always, The 2nd driver has to open space for His Majesty MS... what happened between Massa and MS at the first lap WAS A SHAME!!!

While the other teams have two drivers trying to achieve their best performance, at Ferrari all goes to MS.

And please to come BSing me talking about Malaysia because Massa was lapping 3s slower to allow MS to overtake him at the pits but the german got stuck in traffic and end up behind FM.

In this case, FELIPE maybe let MICHAEL by. But MICHAEL drove the same car to 5th and FELIPE to 9th. I could understand your point had FELIPE been as quick as MICHAEL and finished right behind him. Had it been your choice, probably both would have been out of points....

Also, MICHAEL qualified better, so you could actually call it fair play.

Julian, what I really think is that I couldnt prove either way. My first impression was that of a deliberate move, which could be considered as a foul. On the other side, I cant quite see the necessity for both the tiny advantage it may have brought and the risk it might have provided. And Im sure of one thing, MICHAEL is not a stupid person. I would have put him 5 places back on the grid for obstruction regardless of his intentions.

Those people who want to see things in a particular way will always do so, no matter if there is solid evidence or not.

Well I hope this comment is not pointed at me. And to whoever it may pointed at, it is insulting, as it assumes that we are just part of some Schumie bashing posse who will have a go at your hero just because we 'don't like him'. And that we also sit around relishing the fact that he's in trouble again. Nothing could be further from the truth. I mentioned Fair-Play. That means that even if you dislike someone immensely, you still have to give their talent a nod. You cannot take away the fact that MS is a great, fast, clever, talented winner. I have seen him do great moves and pull out wins and finishing positions that prove he does not have to cheat to win. But he does cheat. He is ultimately flawed, and because of that, it negates all his great qualities. Defend him all you want but don't try and play the 'you hate Schumacher so everything you say is meaningless' game, because it just won't wash.

FM was actually blocked by the Midland cars almost taking each other out while MS was in the relatively clear pit exit lane. This gave MS a good run at FM who had to back off to avoid a colision with the midland cars which allowed MS to get past.
Just like MW had to back off for a small mistake allowing KR past, not much difference. (Except MW made the mistake while FM was blocked by someone else's mistake)
