I've started to get into World and African music a couple of years ago. A friend recommended Deep Forest and I enjoyed their best of album. I have an album for Youssou N'Dour (for 7 seconds). Also on African/Rai I enjoy Cheb Khaled's work but especially Aicha.

Villeneuve recomended Manu Chao (Clandestino) on his website a few years ago and I got the album and it is worth it!!

Thanks for the recomendations, I will certainly look for those.
7 seconds with Neneh Cherry is an outstanding track :D
I too am listening to Cheb! :P I haven't heard any Manu Chao will find some straight away :)

I have a rather interesting compilation album with a really great variety of talented artists. It's called "A Putumato Blend, Music from Coffee Lands". It is full of really moving songs and rhythms. :bounceg: :bounce: :bounceg: :bouncest: :bounceg: :bouncec: :smokin:
Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button World Champions :)

Last time someone mentioned a rod things got out of hand :) So I ain't touching the subject.

Milli Vanilli makes me think of Boney M, Bananarama and Modern Talking :)
