We saw brilliant drives by a few drivers and we saw some confused pit strategies. Heidfeld certainly lucked out while the others struggled to race each other to switch tyres.
Congratulations to Jenson Button and the Brawn GP team, they were strong today. Prior to the rain Williams and Toyota were close but the rain didn't give us the chance to see if they would stay close to the Brawn for the race distance.

Great to watch Alonso and Webber having a real go, with no danger of contact. Professionals both, and few drivers would have managed to get that evil handling Renault as high as Alonso had at the time. Good fun to watch.
Hey Bernie,
Welcome to South East Asia, it's monsoon time here, that means rain. Not your English summer showers, Rain. Perhaps not the best place to schedule a late start, hmmmm.
I feel really ripped off.

That was one of the most exciting and the most boring races I have ever seen. What a contrast!
The first laps were great to watch with Alonso with a much heavier fuel load trying to defend after an amazing start.
Then in the wet, Webber was amazing and for that I voted him driver of the day.
It seems that only Heidfeld and Glock made the right calls. Everyone else just followed what everyone else was doing. I think Ferrari have major issues as they seem to have high risk gamblers deciding the strategy. How on earth can you go full wet yet the track is dry
Even if it rains a lap later, the wet tryes would have worn out. Interesting that Raikkonen blamed the team squarely for that.
In addition to Webber and Alonso, Glock, Trulli, Roseberg and Button where impressive too.
As for why I thought it was one of the most boring, well I don't remember the last time I wasted nearly an hour watching rain fall with commentators and producers having no clue what is going on.
Race officials should have been more informative and provided updates every 5 minutes.
I think Bernie got a taste of what happens when you try to play with the times to the nth degree to please the European broadcasters to squeeze more money out of them. Wonder how many millions watched rain fall

All's I can say is...GO JENSON BUTTON!!!
I was one of the first people on this board to say Hamilton had replaced Button as F1's top Brit, and look at this!!! This must be very sweet for JB. I have always loved his driving style ever since he showed up at Williams and viewed him kinda like Nick Heidfeld, who obviously did a great job in Malaysia as well. Both drivers when they reached Formula 1 showed instant form, but were systematically kept out of top drives. Until now!!
