Bernie just doesn't get it.......................I love F1, and I enjoy powerboat racing.
I DO NOT WANT THE TWO COMBINED................

Why can't Bernie be self critical ? How can he describe the Malaysian Grand Prix as a good show when more than half of the show was watching rain fall.

Can't he just say, we should have considered the weather

I know perhaps I am a bit naive :(
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

I think Bernie got a taste of what happens when you try to play with the times to the nth degree to please the European broadcasters to squeeze more money out of them. Wonder how many millions watched rain fall
Yes watching rain fall......... Nobody seemed to have a clue what was happening.
'Cept Kimi ..................   popsicle and can of drink, a cool pair of shorts, n off he went.......................
Hmmm good point. He was happy not getting back into the car. In MY opion it was not really a race and Bernie needs to realise that fans will not watch rain fall. Trouble is I think it is a case of "Whatever Bernie wants...." and unfortunately for him even he can't control the weather.

Bernie can get the S.E Asian circuits to pay exorbitant fees and kowtow to him at this point, but they ain't no fools and once they have used him to gain access to their desires...bye bye Bernie................sheeesh, no wonder his Lady left him

Interesting little race. 3 types of cars out there. Normal, Kers and Double diffusers. Great scrap between Webber and Hambone and Alonso and Webber. He, Webber, gets my driver of the day ahead of Glock who is showing good speed in the Double diffuser Toyota. Cannot wait for the 14th to see what the FIA think :D
Maybe, perhaps, not sure

:D I didn't vote for driver of the day because I couldn't decide between Alonso holding off the field in his heavy truck  and Webber whistling round in the misty air while the supposed rain-meister Hamilton was waddling

And isn't just Kimi's luck to be at Ferrari when they've lost all sense of race tactics! He was driving a fine race but when they put on the wets, I-COULD-NOT-BELIEVE-IT.

I know they're going to claim they 'rolled the dice,' but that's exactly the excuse Bernie is going to offer for the absurd notion of moving the start time of a race in Malaya to fit the clocks and calendars of a bunch of television executives who are ONLY interested in selling commercial time and have NO notion that racing is interesting solely because it is NOT subject to 'production or management.

Julian writes that he feels 'ripped off'. Seems like an understatement, but then Brits are famous for that. In fact we all had our pockets turned inside out and flushed and then were made to walk all the way home across a desert with no water. 8)

Good for Jensen! And I hope that his only getting half points here --at the beginning of the season when Ross Braun Racing's chances are the best-- doesn't come back to bite him when the end of the season arrives! Five points, as we have seen in the last few seasons, can be HUGE.

As to my own points in Pole n' 8, I shudder to think where I must be: maybe in the five hundreds somewhere.

Oh well, on to Shanghai! I'll resist, now at least, the temptation to play on that proper noun turned into verb. Indeed, maybe for the purposes of this list at least, we could do the same to Mr. E. What say we all agree that for the season thus far, we've been well and truly bernied?

Cheers :drink:

OMG!!!    How the hell do I explain this to my husband??? BUT then again so has he been Bernied... hmmm.
I think it is time for the men with white coats to come and claim Bernie for a long, long R&R time.
Maybe then we could save this sport we love from the bizzare mind of Mr E.

Come to think of it, sometimes I wonder if we're confusing the Dwarf with the Bernie from, say...........Image.....because there have been times were one cannot rationalize what Bernie E. does...........like scheduling Malaysia for 5pm!......right in the middle of monsoon season!

Then again, the way Bernie E. looks and acts at times, can anyone tell the difference?
