Some 1 did...hmm..not been drinking oflate...too much bill on my tab when i was away. Plus a holy month in India where we avoid drinking alcohol...probably that's the reason for my strange thinking

Not yet JayVee,sorry Alonso didnt finish,though he drove a wonderful race by far .U & I know it was down to tyres otherwise Redbull would have been faster than Toyota's

I would still give my driver credit for driving the way he did with pathetic tyres

To gain the title of RainMaster,we need to see other drivers(including urs ) drive in rain soaked race not these kind & win consistently...
Sadly we dont see those race often

Michael has to retire someday & life will move on..would love to see a driver take his place eventually..

youre quite right, taking in account tyre performance MICHAEL was pretty impressive. Everybody on BRIDGESTONEs claimed he was driving like "on ice", incl.MARK, RALF, FELIPE to name 3, and yet MICHAEL cruised from 11th to 4th within 2 laps...and later in the race he was lapping 2s faster than anyone when the track was good for the japanese rubber.

Anyway, credit to FERNANDO who looked good on the MICHELINs, even if JENSON was really the best altogether on the day.

Re.politics, as I look at it, MICHAEL is far more impressive in the car than in politics

It aint just the tyres, in wet races. Its how the power is delivered to the tyres as well, and how the suspension keeps the tyres on the road, while coping with the power delivery, lateral movement etc. and how much flex the chassis has. Clearly, this season, Renault and Ferrari have the engine mapping, suspension and chassis right, the others don't. When it aint right, it is magnified in the wet. Take a powerful ute for a high speed freeway drive in the dry, then the wet. (get insurance first)

Don't worry Kapel, just ask Julian after a wet race who had the best package and who didn't, he'll tell you, he is the authority, he knows Hell he even has contacts with Bernie

Just a warning, whatever he says though will depend on how Webber does. You need to keep that in mind

With me, its getting the entire set up wrong
It can be as little as the engine mapping, Kappy, as to how the power is delivered, and at what throttle setting etc, if 1 car has a point 25 sec advantage in the dry, and that turns into a 1:23 sec advantage in the wet because the power and torque come in at a rate the driver can handle, you are gunna get drives like Alonso's and Schuey's. If the power/torque delivery is too "snappy" you are gunna park it in the armco on lap1.
The motogp boys have a real problem with engine mapping in the wet...the engine cuts in as a brake and flings them down the road before they even get to the corner.
