This may explain the recent banning of Renault dampers, BAR/Honda wings, and the shift in the tire war, not to mention the reaction of some drivers to Michael Schumacher's leadership [or lack thereof] of the GPDA. It smacks of NASCAR-esque manipulation of the rules to better suit this team or that so as to tighten up the championship. I do find it interesting how suddenly the Ferrari can't be beat. [Hold off on the maelstrom of retorts Shoe-fans, I'm basing this statement by the sudden upswing in Massa's performance. MS is always towards the pointy side of the field.]

daMatta: "Schumacher is not a "real" champio
Cristiano daMatta, who is in intensive care after striking a deer at quali speed in a ChampCar at Elkhart Lake [and my thoughts and prayers go to him for a speedy recovery], was quoted as saying he thought Michael Schumacher fails to be a truly great champion because of the amount of bellyaching and manuveuring he does behind the scenes mainly for his own on track advantage. He goes on to say that he found the overwhelming amount of politics in Formula 1 tiresome and that nobody does it better than Schumacher.

Where is any evidence that Schumi has anything to do with the mass damper systems
I stand corrected but didn't other teams, including Ferrari, have to take off their similiar devices
As for the tyres there is always a backward and forwards shift between Michelin and Bridgestone over who has the best tyre for the particular weekend
At the beginning of the season Michelin had the upper hand but that has changed to Bridgestone at present.
Alsonso has said that he expects things to be different for the last 3 races and this hasn't been disputed by Ferrari or Schumi.
A couple of years ago the whole points system, Qualifying and tyres were changed because Ferrari were too dominant.
They can't be blamed for everything.
It's up to other teams like Renault last year to get ahead of the Opposition.
At the moment Ferrari and Bridgestone has got the upper hand - it's simply a matter of the others catching up again which they will do.
But it can't be blamed on Ferrari or Schumi

O.K I will accept that Ferrari can be blamed for half of everything incuding wars, the changing World weather and rising oil prices, but thats itThe Meanest wrote:Almost everything ?Julian Mayo wrote:[quote="The Meanest "
