The latest news on JV is

Roush Racing wants Jacques Villeneuve in NASCAR next year, but only if he can show them the money.

Apparently at the moment he has put off the release of his album until 2007 as he is enjoying spending time with his wife and baby son.

Why are you guys saying this ? Based on what are you doubting the release of his album ? Give the guy a break. He's just become a father! (anyone interested his son's name is Jules)

The album it is almost ready. Jacques says this on his site

"The album is finished now and we're just deciding on the final track order. It should be available in the next few months. Will make sure all the news appears here though so you'll be first to know how and where to get hold of it"

If the album will not be released why would he say this ?

It really is the off season

No need to defend him. I agree that he has to spend time with his family and all. And I think the album will be released eventually. But you know how it works. When you advertise something you gotta deliver it timely. After quite a bit of hype and excitement he kept putting it off. By the time he actually releases the album people will have almost forgotten about it.
