What about Mclaren, they went to the dogs after Bruce died

Actually Michael started from 16th and won at Spa in 95 but that was - as you'd say - a fluke. Apart from that one, he won once from 7thK-D wrote:JayVee wrote: In Malaysia Michael was nearly 0.3 seconds behind Coulthard in Q1. The new 'premature' car won't be more than 0.3 seconds faster than the old car so I can't see them qualifying better. - I disagree.
In the race they may finish higher as the new car may be better on tyres but Michael can only win if the 10 cars ahead all fail. And that is almost impossible (just to give you a bit of hope) - Michael Schumacher have won from 18th on the grid, so he does not need 10 cars to break down. You think yours, I think mine. Come Monday we know who was most correct.
Looks like Monty won't make it to Bahrainrah wrote:I am looking forward to Bahrain, especially since I don't have to go to work the next day, bloody channel ten. But I think we will have to wait a while before McLaren and Monty both get it together.
Of course most of my predictions end up wrong, ie last years result in 8'n'pole.
I will not hold it against a driver that he is so good, that most races he starts form the front end of the grid.JayVee wrote:Actually Michael started from 16th and won at Spa in 95 but that was - as you'd say - a fluke. But sure we think in our own ways. It is good to discuss though
You are all very much mistaken if you think that racing in F1 is easy. In order to win, and be running at the sharp end of the field you need A LOT of talent.JayVee wrote:I'd say more like ... his car is so good (with an aiding team and team-mate!) ....K-D wrote: I will not hold it against a driver that he is so good, that most races he starts form the front end of the grid.

This will be the first race for Pedro de la Rosa since the 2002 Japanese Grand Prix when he drove for the Jaguar team.
