I am looking forward to Bahrain, especially since I don't have to go to work the next day, bloody channel ten. I am hoping that our boy Webber will do better but beyond that I am not sure. If McLaren can get it all together they will be hard to beat. But I think we will have to wait a while before McLaren and Monty both get it together.

Of course most of my predictions end up wrong, ie last years result in 8'n'pole.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

In the race they may finish higher as the new car may be better on tyres but Michael can only win if the 10 cars ahead all fail. And that is almost impossible (just to give you a bit of hope  ) - Michael Schumacher have won from 18th on the grid, so he does not need 10 cars to break down. You think yours, I think mine. Come Monday we know who was most correct.

Actually Michael started from 16th and won at Spa in 95 but that was - as you'd say - a fluke. Apart from that one, he won once from 7th

But sure we think in our own ways. It is good to discuss though

I will not hold it against a driver that he is so good, that most races he starts form the front end of the grid.

You are all very much mistaken if you think that racing in F1 is easy. In order to win, and be running at the sharp end of the field you need A LOT of talent.

All F1 racers are VERY good drivers, and some F1 drivers are at a level that only less than 5 drivers reach.

Currently there is little doubt that the three best drivers in the world are:

Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen.

No team is active in the sport to give anything away; as much as Ferrari is enamoured with Michael Schumacher, were Rubens to continue racing and qualifying in front of Michael, then all of Ferrari's resources will be used to make Rubens the WDC.

No driver teamed with Michael have ever been able to hold his own against him, the occasional faster qualifying is not enough. The occasional better racing is not enough.

Get over the team orders, they have been banned for more that 2 seasons.

Dislike Michael Schumacher if you want to, but do not make yourse?f appear less intelligent denying his undoubted talent.

Yeah, thats me in the top 20. I was in 6th before Malaysia so I hope this trend doesn't continue through the year.

Hey is there another shire. And yes, there are female ute drivers in sydney, and they are usualy worth a look. I, however am just a humble guy.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

It is now official. Juan Pablo Montoya will not compete in the 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix due to his shoulder injury. Pedro de la Rosa will be his replacement while Alexander Wurz will run the third car on Friday ... more

This will be the first race for Pedro de la Rosa since the 2002 Japanese Grand Prix when he drove for the Jaguar team.

K-D has summed it up very well.

Michael won about 2/3 of his GPs in the second or third best car incl.all his first 20 victories. Nelson Piquet looked immediately ready for retirement when teamed up against Michael, then Johnny Herbert and Eddie Irvine, both very gifted drivers were totally outleagued.

Now Rubens is a fantastic driver and his achievements in the last few seasons have shown he is as close as you can get to Michael. Therefore Id say him and Fernando and Kimi are a trio with the greatest chance to take over once Michael falls back. However, as posted before, Im pretty sure it will take Michaels retirement before anyone else can dominate.

Now the F2005 with different tyres will be a strong weapon in Bahrain, but somehow I feel its time for Kimi to come out tops.

My prediction: 1.Kimi(+pole) 2.Michael 3.Fernando

Good luck for all and hope for another great GP.
