Regardless of his origin, you need to consider his age gkaytaz and whether it is us or the so called experts who write in magazines, the guy has shown maturity much beyond his age but he is still a kid. His reaction to Doornbos was really childish but one cannot expect a 24/25 yo to act like a 35 yo in every aspect.gkaytaz wrote: It's a combination really. I have read a couple of articles in the F1 Racing mag in the past regarding this very subject. Then there had been that mass damper incident. Alonso managed to get his bearings in a couple of races but I think the main problem is not his ability to adapt. It's more of a morale thing. He's a Spaniard, hot blooded... Positive and negative incidents have a larger effect on him compared to Schumi or a few other Northern European fellas. Maybe not as bad as in JPM's case though, which is goodBeing emotional is not necessarily a bad thing cuz it helped him be faster than Schumi at times. As long as he can curb it when needed that is.
I am sure you know all this but I just want to highlight this issue when you try to compare an action by say Michael when he was 30 and Alonso when he was 24.
I still remember Michael banging the steering wheel of his Ferrari when he retired in Melbourne in 98 I think and he is German

And what about stalling in 99 at the grid at Suzuka the same year ?
Not to mention what he did in Spa
