My favourite Diver just won the 10metre Australasian championship......I have some trophys for the same event lying around in a sports bag somewhere...... I don't mix my sports........Hambone has broken a record held by Bruce McLarenRE30B#16 wrote:Julian Mayo wrote:.Has the Hambone psyched out Alonso? Hambone had another good finish, but let's not start shining his trophy just yet.
I'm not sure if the average F1 fan now could handle Formula 1 in, let's say, the 60s, 70, or 80s when I guy could win the championship on 3 wins. Everyone always talks about wanting to see more competition and less domination yet if certain top guys don't win every single race, they want to right that guy off immediately.
This weekend, all the sports press was yakking about Tiger Woods struggling to make the cut of some tournament and how this may be Phil Mickelson's time to take over. What??!? Pleazze! In his wildest dreams, Mickelson will never be as good as Tiger Woods. This is not to say he will never win a tournament against Woods in his career, however. Fernando is too young, and too successful to be flustered by Lewis Hamilton, with whom it is rumoured he gets on with extremely well.
Me am amazedJulian Mayo wrote: My favourite Diver just won the 10metre Australasian championship......I have some trophys for the same event lying around in a sports bag somewhere...... IMHO Alonso would have been far better off to make the desperate lunge same place lap 2..........don't make the move the enemy expects

I am amazed that Alonso did his fastest lap when all else was history.....Why bother?
How did that lap compare to DC's fastest lap......Massa's fastest lap? Satos' fastest lap?
I have enjoyed the company of many a Spaniard,.senors n senorita both.......for many years at the "Spanish Club", in Liverpool St, Sydney......because I enjoy it, and I cannot find a better Paella anywhere.
Last Year.....IMHGO....(Good)......Alonso was the best driver in the second best car......Schuey was the third best driver in the best car.......it is the changing of the guard.......even since last year .......Hail the new breed

Hamilton is certainly a strong competitor and yes has won Monaco a number of times but Alonso will get the measure of him, just wait and see how the season develops. ......

Thanks for the laugh today, I just find it amusing that the double world champ will eventually get the measure of the 4 race rookie![]()
