Looks like the Renault has indeed made a decent leap.

They have the 2 BMW's behind them however BMW are known not to show their real potential in practice

Kubica sets a 1:21.937. That is 0.001 behind Piquet and 0.004 behind Alonso!!

He is the only one just half a second off the Ferraris. Everyone else is at least a second off the pace!
