And Heidfeld takes provisional pole with a 1:30.081. Impressive assuming the fuel loads of the two Williams are similar!

So Nick Heidfeld grabs his first Pole position of his career ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Mark Webber.
Jarno Trulli, Juan Pablo Montoya, Fernando Alonso, Rubens Barrichello and Ralf Schumacher make the top 8.

 Thank you, ED.
The Williams cars seem to have done the job reasonably well

They sure came a long way after practice - should be a great race. If a Williams driver wins this year, who will do it first? How would Webber react if it was Heidfeld?

You're welcome Julian.

As we are back to virtually the same format as last year, teams will play with fuel loads. The gap between the Williams and the rest is too big so I think they are light. Raikkonen is very fast too so I suspect that he is light too.

It is good to see Williams up there but tomorrow is what really counts.

everybody should be sad after that Qualif. here:

1.Webber outqualified (Julian & co)
2.MS fighting with Sauber for 10th (rah, f1g, K-D, etc..)
3.McLaren no 1-2 (T-K, graham, me)
4.Alnoso 6th (JV) (+JV outqualif again)
5.Karthikeyan last (Kapel)

i remember a NH fan posted here some time ago... he'd be happy! =)
anyway KR 2nd and JPM 5th is good knowing how Williams start... ;)

The times would indicate that both williams were running very similar LIGHT fuel loads
