Mate, your opening up a can of worms here.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

Well, you know, you're exactly wrong in a way. This does indeed show the exact speed of the cars as they will start the race. I think the present qualifying format is excellent - I like the need for a driver to get it right on that 1 lap and I like the strategy of how much fuel the teams choose to put in for qual. It's always interesting to see who does indeed pit first and who's on what strategy.

What's a better format than the present one?
If you like the 1 lap, I'd suggest that we had lime last year: 1st 1 lap on low fuel, after that one more on race fuel. both on Saturday.
(like that we had this year but both on Sat...) now if you want to discuss on it let's go here--> viewtopic.php?t=165  =)

All the cars get away cleanly on the formation lap.

Of course it will interesting to see who is light and who isn't.

It is thought that the Williams and the Toyotas are light but it is only specualtion

The mechanics on Trullis car may have not cleared the track on time. We'll see if he incurs a penalty of not!

The leading cars are back on the grid ready for the start
