The drinks are on me for next weekend with the first round of the V8's of the year. It should be a good year. I just hope that the V8's part of this site isn't forgotten or abandoned.

My horse is wearing gumboots, and the cattle are growing web feet.
At least there have been no bushfire callouts

I'll do what I can to help. I've watched pictures of the Australian "summer" on TV so I have some idea of whats going on.

The weather is doing strange things all over the world at the moment.

On reflection, taking into account that so few people take an active part in the V8 threads I've decided that it would be in the best not to take part in it unless more people showed interest in it.

My decision is in not a refection of the hard work that you have put into Julian. It based on how few people take part.

We did try a V8 version of 8 'n' Pole last season but it didn't attract too much interest. Usually 4 or 5 revised entries and the rest carried over.

I tried to keep putting my tips in but was not always good at it but I was looking for it this year.

--North American Open-Wheel Racing finally got its' act and unified itself.....

--the MotoGP season begins this weekend under the lights in Qatar......
