Qualifying session starting shortly. It was a wet session this morning and Adrian Sutil was fastest ahead of Raikkonen and Hamilton. Fisichella, Speed, Alonso, Kovalainen and Rosberg made the top 8.

It is cloudy at the moment but it isn't raining.

Qualifying underway. The track is dry. Air temperature is 25 while track temperature is 30

Top 10 after Q1: Hamilton, Alonso, Raikkonen, Liuzzi, Massa, Rosberg, Coulthard, Barrichello, Button and Heidfeld.

Knocked out: Davidson, Speed, Sutil, R Schumacher. Sato and Albers

Second Qualifying session underway.

Raikkonen has a brush with the armco. He manages to pit. He hasn't set a time and it is unlikely he will continue this session.

Final two minutes in Q2, order: Alonso, Hamilton, Kubica, Heidfeld, Rosberg, Massa, Fisichella, Coulthard, Barrichello and Button.

Raikkonen will not return to the track. He will start in 16th!

Order at the end of Q2: Alonso, Hamilton, Kubica, Heidfeld, Massa, Fisichella, Rosberg, Coulthard, Webber and Barrichello.

Knocked out: Button, Wurz, Liuzzi, Trulli, Kovalainen and Raikkonen.

Coulthard appeared to have blocked Kovalainen who was on a flyer. The incident is under investigation.

Coulthard has been stripped of his times in Q2. He will start from 16th. Raikkonen will start from 15th. Button has now made it to the 3rd session.

The McLaren's are going insanely quick!

They can't have any fuel in those cars! :?

Alonso grabs pole position ahead of Hamilton and Massa. Fisichella, Rosberg, Webber, Heidfeld, Kubica, Barrichello and Button make the top 10.

McLaren might have missed a trick there, Felipe has got a lot of fuel on board, he did at least 5 more laps in the last session and ended up just a nano from Lewis's bum! :shock:
