Reality bites back!

The stewards for the Australian GP are reconviening and will (if they have any sense) reinstate Jarno Trulli to 3rd place. Lewis faces sanctions for misleading the stewards! That should make a lot of people very happy.

All the evidence is pretty incriminating, so he'll astronomically lucky if he gets away with being classified for the race.

Unfortunately he hasn't quite got the nous of a Michael, hence the comments to the media after the race telling everyone that; the team had told him to pull over and let Jarno by.

The small minds WILL already have found the new "MICHAEL" in LEWIS...as they need to pick away on someone - makes them feel much better..

Julian, where do you get these wisdoms from? When has MICHAEL(or LEWIS -definitely, personally, knowingly..) misled stewards? Why do you blame SV for the accident last Sunday? What made you think HEIKKI could ever beat LEWIS?

Ahh Grasshopper, so many questions !
But firstly, let us delve into the statement concerning small minds. If I choose to post something with which you do not agree, does that necessitate a derogatory comment? If so, then perhaps the diminuation of mental capacities lies elsewhere?
I have no need to "pick" on Lewis, there are plenty in the media to do that perfectly well. Hambone is a World Champion, and I live in hope that World Champions in all sports will conduct themselves in a manner becoming of a Champion, if only to set an example for the children who worship Champions. Yes, I may well be the epitome of the "Eternal Optimist" .
In my humble "opinion" which, when I last looked, I am entitled to have, SV did not allow racing room, quite possibly because F1 mirrors are as useful as tits on a bull, however, that is, and will remain my opinion, formed from seeing the replay countless times on our Australian broadcast which did carry different camera angles, which I have posted in a forum designed to carry our OPINIONS.
At the time of posting, HK WAS making Hamiltons practice times look silly. Hamilton was the slowest of the field thru sector three, consistantly, AT THAT TIME.
The reference to calling Hambone, Michael, which I addressed to Snowy, alluded to MS's win at ALL costs attitude. I ain't callin no-one a liar, no sirree bob !!!!!!!!
I trust this has alleviated some of your worries.

Now, a cup of tea, and a wee lie down for me, methinks.

small minds is not about opinions or mental capacities. It is about character, I have witnessed many cases of classic No.1 haters and I could provide you with a lengthy psychological explanation but wont try to bore most genuine followers of the sport on here. Suffice to say, you have to ask yourself rather than me how you can seemingly like this sport and at the same time be unable to admire its most supreme performers, it is not only MICHAEL or LEWIS - you now look forward to a "big accident" of SEBASTIAN, which is why I advised you to relax in the other thread.

I could show you at least 30 incidents similar to SEB-ROBERT without a grid penalty having followed and I could quote you many experts who claimed it to be a genuine racing incident, ok this is about opinion to a degree but read your own posts and tell me they are not extremely negative.

I do not, as a genuine follower of F1, EVER look forward to any driver having any accident.
It is an oft held theory by many qualified afficcianados of the sport that blindingly quick drivers such as Vettel are only ever milliseconds from a really big accident, and the true test of their abilities comes after such an accident. No-one in their right minds wants to see such a thing, but it does often happen, unfortunately. Hence my reference to Vettel having a big one.
As for your personal references to my life, I feel that it is beneath me to respond in a forum in which we are encouraged to express opinions we hold.

I absolutely hate the sight of any driver having an accident.. especially a big one.
I do believe that we should all be able to give our opinions without fear of being personally attacked here. We all see things differently and have different levels of interest and knowledge of this sport we love. That is what makes this so interesting but PLEASE no personal attacks.

You have shown your true colours once again

This once again proves that McLaren and their golden boy Hamilton would do anything to try and get points. Exactly like Ferrari and Michael did.

What amazes me is that for 1 point they were prepared to lie even though everything is recorded. Even if this Dave guy told Hamilton to lie, Hamilton should have the brains to realise what happened over the radio. Did the point blind him or does he just abide by anything McLaren tells him even if it is WRONG.

On the Michael matter ..... wow! Michael not lieing and decieving

Maybe some have selective long term memory loss .....

Let me remind those of just the famous incidents ....

Pushing Damon Hill off and getting away with it.
Pushing Jacques Villeneuve off and getting caught yet denying it.
Stopping his car in Monaco in qualifying on the track so no one can improve their time

No, Michael is such an innocent person that those are just accusations that never had any basis .....

Looks like Hamilton and McLaren are heading in the same direction - perhaps just a different style - McLaren style!!

Well, there goes the MICHAEL legend again. He is not innocent or guilty, he is arguably the greatest ever driver in this sport, and even if you feel others were greater you have to admit he was one of the greatest...

MICHAEL did 99% superb races and 1% bollocks, anyone out there with a 100% record?

The topic is about LEWIS however and any comparison with the great one can only make him proud. In fact it is true he has the same desire to win and the same professional competitive attitude. He would rather go slightly over the top than show a lacklustre performance(see Monza).

Like MICHAEL he also has only good things to say about his opponents, e.g. lately(after the scandal came out) about NELSINHO:

However he did have words of encouragement for his former GP2 rival Nelson Piquet Jnr as he struggles to find another race seat in F1 following his role in the 'Crash-gate' affair.

"He's a good driver and he's had a great career, so who knows," Hamilton said. "He's still very young, but he's experienced and he'll take it in his stride. For sure, there are opportunities for him in the future and I can only wish him the best."

Lewis Hamilton was speaking to ESPN's Racing-Live as part of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes pre-race phone-in.

What a strange post F1greyhound!!

I think anyone who has proven to have lied or crashed deliberatly will always have a soft spot for others who do the same thing. Besides they would sound like hypocrits won't they ?

Whereas someone like Rosberg who is clean has said:

"The only thing I don't quite understand is (why) Nelson Piquet didn't get anything.
"For me, he's just as involved as the others because he is the one who actually did it and agreed to it."

To equate anything Lewis Hamilton has done so far (perhaps staying mum about team radio exchanges) to everything Nelson Piquet, Jr has admitted to is a pretty long reach, JayVee.

[It is my understanding that he shunned his father's advice.]
