what I posted was from an article in todays Melbourne Age, sports section I think. Sorry to sound a bit vague but I read half a dozen on-line papers today.

Just to clarify, Webber left the board of the Grand Prix Drivers Association (GPDA). He remains a member of the association.

The GPDA now has three directors (rather than four): Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard and Jarno Trulli

Ed,

What's the latest with the weather - is a wet race still a possibility?

Secondly, If two cars set an identical time in qualifying, which car starts highest on the grid? I know in the past (before single lap qualifying) priority was given to the driver who set the time first - is this still the case?

The latest weather forecast from Sao Paulo indicates a 40% chance of rain during the race.

Qualifying is set to run under sunny skies though!

Regarding qualifying, yes a driver has to better the time of a competitor to qualify in front.

From the Sporting Regulations (article 129)

The grid will be drawn up in the order of the fastest time achieved on the track by each driver. If two or more drivers set identical times priority will be given to the one who set it first.

Jarno Trull who qualified 8th will start from 18th after incurring a 10 place penalty after changing the engine on his car.

i feel truly heart-broken.. argh!!! saddens me to see kimi at 5th... sighs... i will pray hard hehehe... so "THE CUTE" (fact is not cute at all!) wont make it... hehehe... instead kimi.. the best shall make it.. hehehe..

i hope kimi wins this time... he suffered enough bad-luck in the beginning of the season.. there must b justice right! hahaha...
