JayVee, your nothing but a blind Alonso supporter who always picks him for 1st place. But then it has worked for me so far this season as well.

I don't know about your picks, but I hate to see mine. I only have three driver in the top eight.

I managed to get 3 in the right place and JV but not in 6th.
Oops I for about the Midland.
Was funny seeing Ross Brawn laughing at Monty spinning.
Don't think Ron Dennis would have been amused.

It was a good race to watch. Alonso was my driver of the day, a good driver with a great car.

I think Button should of crossed the finish line to bank points. There is no guarantee he would get more points in the next race without the engine change penalty.

Alot of work needs to be done by a number of teams before the next round. Driver skills also need to be improved before the next round.

The team is focused on getting Jenson his first win. They figure - rightly or wrongly - that once he has a win under his belt (the monkey off his back) they will start winning consistently. Imola has been one of 'BAR'Honda's favourite tracks and Jenson is strong there. They suspect like me that Jenson could win there with an inferior car, another place where you might see Honda making that kind of sacrifice for is Monaco. So don't be surprised at Honda's tactics; they are looking to get the monkey off the back and win the title in 2007. And with Alonso and more than likely Kimi in unfamilier machinery in 2007 they stand a very good chance.

But the monkey must be purged

I find it interesting that Webber had another 6 laps of fuel, when the BWC expired while he was in the lead. IMHO that is a podium wasted.

My faith in the Williams Cosworth is beginning to fade already. They were meant to have an early advantage with the Cosworth.

I dont remember the last time safety car came out as many times and so frequently in the race.I'm sure the safety car driver has gone to the FIA asking for a pay hike

Entertaining race,many mistakes by drivers,reliability issue not in engine department,opportunity grabbers,lucky few & penalty benefitters was the scene on Sunday Australian GP.
But the man on the song right know,didnt put a foot wrong,maintained his composure when he saw his lead of 25-30 secs blown away,making his teammate look stupid by consistently driving 2 sec faster than him,perfectly positioning himself for the restart after smartly warming up his tyres,the current World Champion Fernando Alonso!!!

Tyres played a role in this race,but not one tyre supplier had an advantage,it was the team which used their tyres to warm them up perfectly.

Kimi's mistake cost him the chase to Alonso,i'm not sure if it would have
made any difference with the way Alonso was flying.

Ralf was the one who benefitted the most after the last SC period,which earned him the podium,i would still say well driven & deserved.

Nick was always there in the top 8,drove to himself,kept away from all the mess,derved his position.

Fisi - Pathetic performance,apart from last part of the race where he put pressure on Button.

Rest of the drivers in points were plain lucky.

Massa was clearly squeezed,Webber needs to go upto to SF and ask him blatant questions,on Montoya & Michael

Good Race! Lots of classy overtaking and plenty of good driving. Fernando has inherited not only Michael's skills, but his luck, too. As long as that holds he's unbeatable. Even by Kimi.

Don't understand why Kimi turned fastest lap at end either... pride? simple racing instincts?

Haven't had time to read through team comments yet, but suspect there was something fishy about Kimi's car?

Also feel bad for Williams. Thought they'd be a force this year and turns out they're struggling with the Red Bulls!

Ferrari. maybe it's time for Jean Todt to look into the Fiat Retirement plan?

The Red cars look "flat". Even if the engines were tuned down to deal with the strange piston problem, the drivers and the crew should still have that Ferrrari professionalism. They looked like clowns.

And I am a Ferrari/Michael lover.

Still, in F1 there's no place to hide, is there?
