I think they are both staying in testing roles, with Zonta leaving Toyota to go to Renault to replace Hk.
Oh that makes more sense. :D
Which means of course................?

Hamilton will line up next to Alonso. Poor PDLR
Piquet will replace Fisi halfway thru 2007 (if he gets some manners, at least enough to satisfy his manager.......Flavio) 8) :(

We haven't heard anything official about Hamilton Julian. However I would rate his chances higher than de la Rosa.

Ron Dennis has to choose between a rookie and another Spanish driver!
I can't see any other driver as a serious candidate!

LH is Ron's, (or Snowy's  ) love child, no contest.
There are some serious rumblings amongst the tried and noted writers from near and far that the word has passed around, it is as good as done (Joe Saward for one, imho one of the better F1 journos, in this months AutoAction)

Mid 2007, Kovi, Kubrica, PK, Nico, Liuzzi in a Neweymobile with a Renault engine

It's too early to count out Gary paffett, Mercedes are very keen on him, and may not want to loose their DTM champion. I'd really like Lewis to get the job but it isn't over till the fat lady (Denis) sings.
Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button World Champions :)

I am not counting Paffett out but I doubt that he is a prime candidate.
He is a rookie too

Toro Rosso has signed 2006 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi for the 2007 season. This was reported on the old Toro Rosso website however the site is currently undergoing a major overhaul.

Formula1.com also lists Liuzzi as a driver for Toro Rosso.

There is still one seat up for grabs for the 2007 season.

I do not think they are being fair to Scott Speed

However I have just read that the delay has been caused by Scotts reluctance to extend his contract by at least another year beyond 2007.

This season is Speed's last chance... If he fails to deliver he's as good as gone.

From what I read, he is not prepared to ty himself to TR, unless there are some guarantees he will be picked up by RB

I could live without him racing :P

I would like to see if he has outright speed........he has shown the ability to be a tough racer..............when Schuey tried to serve it up to MW, and MW gave it right back to him in spades, n Schuey, even tho he saw it coming, could do nothing about it, and started thinking about retirement.....marked MW as a tough racer.....I think that if Scott could get a quicker seat, we would soon find him out. One way or another.

I agree that he is a tough racer, i just dont think he is the quickest guy out there.
I think Seebass, for one, would wipe the floor with him in equal equipment.

If it was me, I would jump at an extension on my contract beyond 2007. He may not get a better offer :?
I'm in shape

Round is a shape...........
