I hopoe you are not including me in this statement. Although my user name is Jacfan, that came from '96 when Jacques joined F1 and I have continued to support him throughout his lean years. However I am extremely proud of Mark. I met him at one of the Australian GPs before he entered F1 and he seemed a really nice genuine guy. I think Mark is a great driver (regardless of what others think) and I actually don't think he has to prove himself to anyone. Given the right circumstances I think most of the drivers out there are capable of winning a WDC. After all they are supposed to be the very best in their field. I personally don't have a problem with supporting more than one driver.
Jacfan, me and Julian had many discussions about this in the past, several times he accused me of dumping Villeneuve in favour of Alonso. On several occassions I explained to him my position yet since he has nothing else to argue with, he brings this up again.
I support both Villeneuve and Alonso but for some reason Julian has a problem with that.
As you are relatively new here, I thought I'd let you know.
JayVee, as soon as it became apparant that JV wasn't going to do well, you jumped ship for the bloke I had been praising...AND it was me who coined the phrase Alonso the cute

JayVee,the arguement here is not about getting scot free from the stewards.Dont u read the context of the quote before u answer?

Its about, not getting ripped to threads here in this forum!!!

Never have i seen u say anything so nasty about any driver on the grid for the same mistake done as Michael :horn:

But thats u..
Kapel, you are starting to sound like Julian ...... you are the authority too ?

First name one driver who has done anything as mean and nasty as your driver ?
Plus, your driver is a multi-repeat offender, he should actually be stripped off his license and banned
THERE IS ONLY ONE AUTHORITY

Exactly JayVee.Everyone does.So will Alonso & probably even worse things. So stop :blah2: :blah2: abt ur driver being the honest & fair driver on planet f1.He has just started to do things which every1 did..Be fair in critisicm, dont have the heart to say anything against him do u?
Huh ? I said he deserved the penalty. He didn't jump up and down and complain. He accepted and got on with it.

Yes i would, cos Michael wouldnt have got scot free with this by u. :horn:

They will get penalised,& they should be.Lets see if they get thrashed in this forum,if they r ppl's fav driver  I doubt it.
Thrashed for what ? If they accept it then fine but if they go blaming others then maybe

You just love conspiracies don't you.

Just like your driver, you can't accept he made a mistake. It was all in his hands, he could have slowed down but be didn't. He was in the wrong. End of story.

As for tactical, well Michael passed 2 cars under the red flag. Enough said
JayVee,dont say things for what u dont know..chk my race post & then reply.

Do u read my post on tactical???Oh forget it...
U cannot accept ur driver made a mistake(dont have the guts to critisize him for his mistake & say that every1 does it) ,ruined his race & chance for a victory, thats y u just wanna glorify his performance for self satisfaction making his the rainmaster  ...sorry without winning races in wets consistently no1 gets that tag
This is how you react when you figure out you were wrong. Michael passed 2 cars under red and not only Alonsos.
Alonso didn't trick him but you cannot accept that your driver stuffed up. You have to blame someone/something else.

Alonso's performance on Sunday was superb, grand, very impressive and that isn't just me, everyone who watches Formula 1 said so.

In years to come his performance here will be remembered just like those many great performances in the wet from the great Senna

Your rainmeister was lapped, go watch the old tapes and live in his glory if you want. For now it is Alonso :1st:

As far as I can see, the fastest lap was by Massa.

And umm well from what I can gather, taking all things into consideration, discounting possible aberations and cutting a long story short....... Albers with 1.26.117.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

PEACE gays, it just discussion forum, not war field even I like this staff of discussion but this time it seem more personal.

Any way
Alonso make mistake and penalized and it seems harsh and put the Steward in bad image as they try to give championship to MS, so MS help them to find solution by his mistake, so every one tie.

In the race both MS and Alonso prove that they are champion class by moving to top 5 within 3 laps (even I surprised by Alonso performance which I don't expected) but after that we see that Michelin have clear advantage over Bridgestone (about 3 sec per lap)
But when surface start to dry we see Alonso start to struggle and button start to close in him and Ferrari & Toyota start to deliver competitive and faster time. Then safety car came, where most Bridgestone shoed drivers were lapped except MS who was 7 sec a way from button at one point then he make his strategic error by not changing his tires
I surprised by Renault post race press release and Alonso comment that they are back and they are have pest package and they are confidant for next races, what I see is a rain race where every thing messed up, Alonso have outstanding package in very wet (not extreme wet) conditions where he gain 1.5 second per lap but at semi wet and dry condition he lost 1 second per lap. So we do not see the true pace of any team.
What if Bridgestone team not lapped at safety car could we see other result. We never know.
