Michael in 8th is 28 seconds behind Raikkonen

A stunning lap by Raikkonen on lap 20. A 1:16.265. He is now 5.4 seconds ahead!

It seems Alonso can match Raikkonen in the first sector but Raikkonen makes up for that in the second sector

Albers spun at Mirabeau. Coulthard slows then Michael hits the back of Coulthard. A pile up is avoided luckily!!

Alonso, Webber, Hiedfeld, Fisichella, Massa, M Schumacher (lost front wing), Friesacher and Coulthard have all pitted as a result of the saftey car.

Coulthard retires from the damage sustained from Michael hitting him

The field is now bunched up behind the safety car.

Interesting that Raikkonen chose not to pit and neither did Trulli

Raikkonen is flying and is taking advantage of his lighter car.

Trulli is second with Alonso in 3rd and Webber in 4th
