Only problem with that being that the first hint mentions the period between 1975-1990

Too hot to bother looking for obscure drivers. Electricity was out for quite a while today and might go down again...

I am Mike Thackwell and to this day I hold the record for being the youngest driver to ever race in Formula 1 at the age of 19 years, 5 months and 29 days. Even though there were high hopes for me, I never managed to finish a race!
