Go look it up Julian, it is no good staying quiet and not proving those facts.
Au contraire Mmslle, I know the meaning well. I also understand meaningful, logical discussion.
I also, when someone tells me to keep quiet...tells me, no less...can argue with the most illogical, irrational of them all, using their own tactics.
As you posted to Jim Watt some time ago, you don't post much these days, because there are not enough arguments.
Today, I have gone to great lengths to rectify that for you.
I awwait my rewards with relish, if not on earth........then wherever
I've been following this discussion with interest and it seems to me, Mayo, that reagrdless of the topic, you do as good line in accusation and comment, of which none of it you have substantiated. You have no idea about 'meaningful, logical discussion', although yiou seem to think that just saying that somehow makes it true. It don't!
Jayvee is right - just sticking 'fact' after a statement means jackshit. Get the quotes to back it up, otherwise it's meaningless. And to make a further point, just because you read something in a magazine, doesn't make it 'fact' either, but you can find the relevant part and quote it. Just saying you read it is about as pathetic an argument as you can get...you might as well say, 'a bloke told me down the pub'. Laughable.
Get your quotes to support your argument, with links so we can all see them and post them back here. If you post anything else (like that drivel above) we will know that there are no quotes, that nothing you have said is based on fact and that you are wrong, and you should apologise
Oh by the way, having a go at me, and trying to divert this discussion away from your unstantiated comments will not wash. I'm not responding till you either support your argument properly or apologise for trying to blacken another forum member's name.
In conclusion:
What I'm trying to say, Mayo, is either put up or shut up.
