Maybe Michael Schumacher and Ross Brawn are plotting a Toyota take over to get Schumacher back in F1!!!

Nah, Toyota have had enough of one Schumacher already!

The FIA is now pursuing McLaren. Seems there may have been more than one 700 plus page document, and over a considerable time span.

There was a post, pre-season, about the rumour that Ferrari would win the Titles this year.
No Matter what. And that had nothing to do with Ferrari, but some-one else deciding that "for the good of the sport" it would be better if Ferrari won. 8)

The really unfortunate thing is, that if guilty, then a massive fine & loss of points would be appropriate....Just unfortunate that Hamo will lose the WDC.

If points are to be deducted from McLaren I hope that it is done sooner rather than later. I don't want to get to the end of the year not knowing who has won the drivers or manufactures champs.

I do expect points to be deducted but hope it is only for the manufacturers champs.

That sounds logical but if the cars have gained an advantage, and therefore the driver has won the race, a pt deduction from both Alonso and Hamilton will be inevitable.

But I agree, if something must be done, let's do it before, say, the Turkish GP...

That'll bring his mood down for sure. I just hope that he won't get hurt too much and lose interest in F1.

The FIA have released a statement where they request representatives from the McLaren team to appear before the FIA World Motor Sport Council on the 26th of July in relation to the team being in possession of documents and confidential information that belonged to the Ferrari team.

The statement read:
Representatives of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes have been requested to appear before an extraordinary meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Paris on Thursday, July 26, 2007.

The team representatives have been called to answer a charge that between March and July 2007, in breach of Article 151c of the International Sporting Code, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes had unauthorised possession of documents and confidential information belonging to Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, including information that could be used to design, engineer, build, check, test, develop and/or run a 2007 Ferrari Formula One car.
