Well, shock !! Schuey is quoted in the German Press as being in favour of the new engine and tyre regs, and feels that Max does a fine job, being only concerned with driver safety.
Hmmm, lets consider for a moment. The Ferrari was flogged by most other V10 manufacturers in 2005. Now we have a new engine formula.
The Michelins have trashed the Bridgestone product. Now we have a new tyre reg.
It is important to remember that the modern F1 car is designed around its tyres not the other way around. All the suspension componentry is designed and built around the characteristics of the tyres. This includes the design and location of the suspension pick-up points, which are part of the one piece moulded tub, or "chassis".
Now we have a new tyre reg, announced just the other day, and Ferrari are already happily run tyre tests with the rubber to be used under the new regs.
Little wonder that Schuey is happy.
Is that the old Ferrrari Paranoia I feel creeping back into my brain?

Maybe I might just have a quick peek at the F1 Boat calender just in case.

The Mountain is a savage Mistress.
