Lewis Hamilton won both races in GP2 at the nurburg ring on Sunday. I think that is a very good sign that we are about to have another British racer in F1 next year. He is not confident of getting a competitive drive however, there are a number of opportunities coming up and a drive with Renault is not out of the question! Perhaps a drive at Mclaren with Alonso?! Perhaps a drive with Ferrari? Perhaps a drive with Honda or Williams? Or BMW. If I were a team manager I would be making my way to his door this very morning and wooing :woohoo: him with all my woo :woohoo: wooing abilitities!

It's a pleasant comments thread I can be as idiotic as I like just as long as I keep it civilized and clean...Can't I?    :fly2:

Oh yes he is that good and he's black 8) and he's bad
Dennis also revealed that various sponsorship offers have been made to the team, on condition that Hamilton gets a race seat, by companies keen on the novelty of the first black Formula One driver.

"Over the years, we have been offered various financial support packages contingent on those elements (Hamilton getting a race seat), and we rejected them," Dennis said. "We've backed Lewis since he was 11 and see him as a very focused, young, talented driver who is working hard out of the car as much as in it. His colour is immaterial."
He's also financial gold mine  yes oh yes :1st: :bounceg: :bouncey: :bouncey: :bounce: :bouncec: :horn: :fly2: :fly2:

My 500 and 1st post will be a pleasant comment about the chances of success for our two Brits Jenson in F1 and Lewis in GP2! :D I wish them both every success this weekend. I suspect Lewis will be right up there and Jenson only there abouts but you never know with Spain it is a demanding circuit for cars...who am I kidding.

Any how what do you have to do to become an F1 racer around here?!!! Ed? Anyone?! 501 post not all of 'em great, some of 'em darn right awful I'll grant you but it's bloody amazing I made it  I'm working full time you know, admittedly my students have suffered but it's been worth it. Hasn't it?

501 and counting
