2005 an inferior car, 4th quickest at best but MICHAEL finishes 2nd in WDC behind a faultless FERNANDO.....a disgrace for the likes of JUAN and FISICO...
2006 2nd-3rd(depending on track) best package and MICHAEL remains the only challenge to his obvious successor FERNANDO....things might turn around in Indy....

I think its only fair enough that MICHAEL had the best package for 3 of his 15 seasons - and obviously its not down to the car..........

:blah: I would hardly call it a domination of Ayrton considering Ayrton did not get to see the season out. A few races at the begining of the year do not make a WDC.

Oh so Ferrari look good for one race and F1greyhound re-appears

Wasn't Michael supposed to have lost the championship becuase of that unfair Monaco penalty ?

Alonso won at Silverstone and Montreal just in case you didn't notice.

Anyway that impressive list of yours is matched by an equally impressive list of unfair and unsporty moves that driver has committed in the past. I posted a link to a BBC article on those moves at the time of Monaco.

One thing though, please don't try and change the facts, don't think we are fools (is this a trademark of your driver and his followers too   )
You say
2005 an inferior car, 4th quickest at best but MICHAEL finishes 2nd in WDC behind a faultless FERNANDO.....a disgrace for the likes of JUAN and FISICO...
Ummm as far as I know the championship in 2005 was like this:

Alonso 133
Raikkonen 112
Your driver 62
Montoya 60
Fisichella 58

Your driver finished 3rd just 2 points ahead of what you call the disgraces Montoya and 4 ahead of Fisichella.

He had less than half of what Alonso scored and a massive 50 points behind Raikkonen.
And his car wasn't 4th best at Indy when he got 10 free points was it ? nor was it 4th best at most of the other races including Australia, Bahrain, Imola, Canada, France, Hungary .... ?

But hey you made him second so it doesn't really matter if he was in the 4th best car or maybe even 8th best. We are fools ....... we like to dream eh 8)

Get down to earth F1greyhound :!: Your guy cheated and it wasn't the first time so his penalty should have been harsher.

Anyway several drivers have been penalised in qualifying this season including wiping out all their times.

Sorry F1whippet but I think you are living in a dreamland where a certain MS is incapable of doing anything wrong. I suppose you believe that Michael Jackson hasn't had any surgery either.

Not as tiring as yours Jayvee. Maybe one day you'll wake up from your one-dimensional world where FA is angel and MS is evil and has only accumulated his record by having a lawyer hold a gun at his teammates head.

FA is a truly great driver, however you resort to petty forensic analysis of F1grehounds post, rather than giving credence to his point, which I think is very valid, that we have yet to see FA get results in a car that he shouldnt, win races that he shouldnt have. This is a quality that MS has demonstrated on many occasions, and provide some of my enduring memories of recent F1 years (in all its limitations). Im not saying that FA is not capable of this, but I have yet to see it.

MS's black marks are there for all to see, some (not all) of which are deserved, and will rightly taint his legacy forever, however for me the sum of the man is much greater than than that. Speaking of which I have alwyas beleived, and none other that Nigel Roebuck agrees with me on this, that MS's behaviour on track is a direct legacy of the standards set by Ayrton Senna, a tricky hypothesis, given that we are not supposed to speak ill of those who have passed on.

cheers,

Strangely, as much as I depise Scummaker the man, for his inability to be a role model as much as anything else, I find myself agreeing with most of your post....the AS comment would have been better left out of it tho. 8)

Usually, I won't jump into something like this, but I believe you may be the one living in the one-dimensional world and projecting it onto JayVee.

At the beginning of last year, no one thought Benetton/Renault was ready as a team or chassis-wise to take a championship. As much as I like Fisico, without Fernando Alonso in the team, quite frankly Raikkonen would have won last year's WC. Now suddenly, it must be the car and Alonso is the monkey driving it!??!

When Schumacher won his first 2 championships for Benetton, everyone said he did it in a car that was inferior. That was rubbish then, and to suggest Alonso has yet to prove himself as equal in talent to Michael Schumacher, who is talented but not the most talented driver I've ever seen, is equally rubbish.

If you still need evidence of FA's ability, open your eyes and consider what has been going on for the past 2 years.

As for Nigel Roebuck's Senna remark, that is rubbish as well. He has been known to hock one out of his a#%& every now and again. If anything, MS's behavior is the legacy of Alain Prost. Senna never required "number one" status in a team to insure no competition from his teammates as AP and MS have. Prost DID make a dodgy move to block Senna in 1989, and he got fired for it despite Senna's revenge move in 1990 that he was man enough to admit, I might add. After one season as his teammate in 1990, Nigel Mansell corroborated Senna's claims of Prost's treachery as a teammate. But enough with the history lesson, pay attention to what happens on the the track and put the emotions in check.

Thank you for your accuracy. MW said, and it is on record that FA was the best and fairest he raced against in F3 (?) I do not know the stats but I believe there was not much tween them. They have ben good friends since those days
