I could live without him racing :P
I would like to see if he has outright speed........he has shown the ability to be a tough racer..............when Schuey tried to serve it up to MW, and MW gave it right back to him in spades, n Schuey, even tho he saw it coming, could do nothing about it, and started thinking about retirement.....marked MW as a tough racer.....I think that if Scott could get a quicker seat, we would soon find him out. One way or another.
I agree that he is a tough racer, i just dont think he is the quickest guy out there.
I think Seebass, for one, would wipe the floor with him in equal equipment.

If it was me, I would jump at an extension on my contract beyond 2007. He may not get a better offer :?
N I think Will Power is better than Seebass, therefore, by natural progression, Will should be in a Ferrari, or McLaren....or Renault....etc

I also don't think that there will be a huge difference in equipment between RBR and STR.
The biggest difference is in the drivers, DC/MW vs VL/SS. My money would be on DC/MW (smaller odds but better chance)
I'm in shape

As JM pointed out there'll be a difference in the engine department. Add a pinch of experienced drivers into the mix and... Well anyway, personally I see RBR easily beating STR.

As far as customer engines, they are two of the best in the business.

I believe this has been discussed elsewhere, Renault Customers have beaten Renault, Ferrari customers have never beaten Ferrari.
That is not to imply for 1 second that Ferrari has deliberately done wrong by their customers. An engine is designed to fit a chassis.....the chassis always comes first. a 2 ml difference in the mounting point attachement to the block can create a nightmare for the customer. By 2008 I am sure Newey will have a chassis specifically for the customer engine. This year........... :?

This is true, but Ferrari has never supplied an engine to a team with a chassis good enough to beat them. This also applies this season, i dont think Spyker or STR will be good enough to beat the Ferrari even if the engines were identical.

Not to mention the drivers...

Hmmmm........it may be something to do with the fact that moving the engine mounts just a tad can present the customer with all sorts of Vibration problems etc  GK?

That's why I think they'll have a tough first half but recover later on...

Main reason why I oppose the concept of buying a car as a whole... Teams should develop their own chassis to honor what F1 represents.

The Safety Code will prevent any more Colin Chapman fellas I hope

That's (hopefully) a calculated risk
