All the 3rd drivers are on the track plus the 2 Jordans, Villeneuve, Button and Michael Schumacher

8 minutes into the session and no set times yet.

Sato and the 2 McLaren's go out for their installation laps.

Alexander Wurz, the 3rd driver for McLaren has done 4 laps but without a time

It is expected tomorrow and Sunday will be even hotter.

A 1:36.709 for Zonta. Doornbos (Jordan) now on a flyer.

A 1:40.918 for Doornbos while Zonta improves to 1:35.425

Nearly 20 minutes into the first session and only 3 drivers have set lap times.
Zonta (1:34.741) fastest followed by Doornbos then Liuzzi
