1st practice session in Monaco about to get underway. Yes as always, practice in Monaco is on Thursday with no running on Friday due to market day.

Air temperature is 23 and track tempertature is 31 degrees

More drivers go out for an installation lap. No set times so far.

As is always the case in Monaco, the track gets much faster as more cars lay the rubber down.

Of the race drivers, Albers, Friesacher, Karthikeyan, Villeneuve, Massa and Ralf have completed installation lap.

Air temperature drops to 22 while track temperature is up to 33.

Wurz is the first to go back out and he starts the first timed lap of the day!

Wurz sets a time of 1:24.835!

Klien now on the track for the second time.

Only Alonso, Trulli and the 2 Williams drivers have yet to go out onto the track
