You would be right......it was funny as h--- listening to all the on-air BS at MRN about how "it was Juan Pablo's corner" and so forth..........my advice to the MRN guys would be.....if the second car's not equal to the first entering the corner on a road course, it ain't their corner....like I said in another posting, I would've loved to have been a fly on the wall listening to the Ganassi team's debrief following the race; Pruett had the corner and JPM could've waited a few more laps; in the post-race interview, Pruett was p----- and said on-air, "I woulda let him by; he had fresher tires. That was just lowdown, nasty, dirty driving"Julian Mayo wrote:After spearing his team-mate off !!!mlittle wrote:He finished 8th.......Juan Pablo won the race, though.Julian Mayo wrote:How did he go ?

Ambrose gets robbed.....................................................
With about 6 or so laps remaining in the NASCAR Busch Series' debut at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, it looked like former V8 Supercar racer Marcos Ambrose was gonna' win his first Busch race........then all hell broke loose!
Here's what happened...............
--on a late restart, Ambrose was leading, with Robby Gordon in 2nd; when the green fell, Ambrose took off, Gordon in pursuit, while behind them a bunch of cars wrecked going through the Senna curves(if you think it's hard for 20 or so F1 cars to go through there, imagine 43 stockcars going through there......
)
--the caution comes out.......meanwhile, Gordon managed to sneak by Ambrose, only to get spun out in the next corner by Ambrose(it was a racing incident, not a deliberate act as RG claims.......
)
--apparently, Robby Gordon was really, really, really p----- off at Ambrose, because on the next restart, Gordon deliberately spins Ambrose out in turn 2(drawing the black flag from Busch Series officials.......like it helped!
)
--apparently, Gordon failed to heed the black flag, as he kept toodling along, oblivious to the fact that they had stopped scoring him...making things worse for RG, when the race ended, Gordon started doing burnouts on the pitstraight, alongside the driver that actually won the race, Kevin Harvick
--afterwords, RG told every reporter in sight that it was all Ambrose's fault for what happened and that he would appeal the results of the race; Ambrose, FWIW, said he was disappointed over what happened but he wasn't mad at Gordon, he just said "we're this close to a win"
IMHO, like it says above, Ambrose was robbed of a win today in Montreal; he came d----- close to winning at Gilles Villeneuve and if it hadn't been for that boneheaded ------- Robby Gordon, he would've won.........the Busch Series IIRC goes to Watkins Glen next week; hopefully, Ambrose will get that first Busch win, while Gordon gets to sit out the race(hopefully, NASCAR'll do something right for once, like, uh....sitting Gordon out!!!
