THE RUMOUR FACTORY FOR 2007

On another note Klien's name is being pronounced as Davidson's successor. Given that the Ant failed to impress so far this might become more than a rumor shortly.
I think Klien would be a welcome addition to the Aguri team. They may have better options out there but Klien has a bit of an experience which is of utmost importance for a young team...

A discreet wager on F1 being back at Indy next year might be a wise investmentgkaytaz wrote:Instead of trying to get into the soccer world and screw it up Bernie should sign a contract for a US GP. We probably won't have a US GP until 2009 but that does not mean Bernie should just grow his planet-sized ego while the teams lose a great crowd.

They still gotta sign the contract but I hope your prediction comes true.Julian Mayo wrote:A discreet wager on F1 being back at Indy next year might be a wise investmentgkaytaz wrote:Instead of trying to get into the soccer world and screw it up Bernie should sign a contract for a US GP. Then again we should perhaps look at both sides of the medallion: The team didn't do much to help him either. Speed never really saw much encouragement. Same goes for Liuzzi too. If the trend keeps as is, STR will soon come to be known as "Screw Thy Record". Vettel should think twice before signing a contractmlittle wrote:Rumor has it Scott Speed got into an altercation w/Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost after both STR cars crashed out....now, chances are he ain't going to be driving for 'em next year, but does he have to take the express route to the unemployment line?![]()

SeaBass should also be thinking long and hard about driving for STR under the circumstances above........gkaytaz wrote:Then again we should perhaps look at both sides of the medallion: The team didn't do much to help him either. That may be more than rumor........according to ar1.com's "News" page(I'll post a link at the end of the post), Australian GP officials are saying that with the V8's returning to Albert Park next year, having the opening round of F1 "was no longer a big deal". In return for getting the V8's back, GP officials gave them some concessions(mentioned in the news item)...............Julian Mayo wrote:Bahrain to open the season next year??
Nothing to do with coaxing the V8Supercars back to the Park.???

As more news comes to hand, seems it is a done deal. You will be able to watch the race at a respectable hour.........Europeans will see it around 5-6am.....it's slottted for a late start it seems.mlittle wrote:That may be more than rumor........according to ar1.com's "News" page(I'll post a link at the end of the post), Australian GP officials are saying that with the V8's returning to Albert Park next year, having the opening round of F1 "was no longer a big deal". Read a similar rumor (?). If a rumor shows up in more than one place chances are it's probably true.mlittle wrote:That may be more than rumor........according to ar1.com's "News" page(I'll post a link at the end of the post), Australian GP officials are saying that with the V8's returning to Albert Park next year, having the opening round of F1 "was no longer a big deal". Has anyone denied it yet? If yes then it's a dead giveaway

BTW, Berger is said to be in the process of convincing BMW to give up Vettel. We might see Vettel replace Speed as soon as the next GP.mlittle wrote: SeaBass should also be thinking long and hard about driving for STR under the circumstances above........![]()
