There might actually be some valid reasons for testing the 2004 car, apart from the fact that the 2005 car was crap.

I believe the idea of Michael starting his own team is being discussed and I can see him doing it ... I wouldn't be surprised if he encouraged Volkswagen - perhaps using their Audi brand - to come to Formula One.

Joe Saward in a recent column in Auto Action made a convincing case the MS would try to end his career in a Deutsch environment, except he had him pegged for Macca/Merc.
