Jenson can only get into the top 5 of the championship if he is towed around the track, either by his team mate who will out perform him, or because he accidently gets his nose stuck under the rear wing of a Mclaren or Renault.
This kind of retoric is getting very tiresome... Have you tried alka salza for your indigestion
Jenson in a Honda is a wonder

I didn't write that. I simply stated that the Honda will be on the podium this year and Jenson Button, as a Honda driver, will be there.

sigh...it is time to face reality.
here is my assessment of the 2006 year, after the testing is all but done.
Some teams have got the aero right, some teams have got the power and reliability right.
Sadly those black sound things are going to make all the difference, yet again, and Michelin have the edge.
Renault : have the package right. And M tyres.
McLaren : have the pace, but I think it will be a repeat of last year. Kimmi the fastest driver in F1, walks back to the pits too often, The genius of JPM is overshadowed by brainfade and tentrums.
Ferrari : Just not quite there with the F248, ageing No1 driver, and a tailgunner. Might surprise on a track suited to the Bridgestones. I expect Schuey n Webber to tangle at least once.
Toyota: Have the best test driver of them all in Olivier Panis, Shiploads of money, Mike Gascoine, thousands of gofers n spannermen, and plan to introduce 3 evolutions of the car thru the season. But they also have 2 number two drivers, and have lost their way with the B tyres.
Williams: sigh...seem to have the aero, have the power, don't have much money, and they cannot get a hard B tyre that will turn in, hence the lap peculiarites. If they can Mark will podium early in the season, til the others match the power of the Cosworth. Nico will be brilliant or disappear forever.
Honda: Have had a couple of BBQs, but seem to have power and aero. If Button can drive, he better do it this season, or Barrichello will give him a brazilian.
BMW: Not for the next two years, they need to get everything under the one roof, then "gel" ( and once they give J his superannuation they will have more money to spend.
Red Bull: when have Ferrari customer engined teams had success ? Why are they having overheating problems ? 2008 could be interesting.
Midland: If they can keep Biaggi off a motogp bike a lot of people will be happy.
Torro Rosso. A neat LITTLE outfit.
SuperAguri: Has passed the FIA crash test, wont pass anything on the track.

good post JM!!!!
Unfortunately I tend to agree with everything you have said. I sense catastrophe in the near F1 future. Surely all cannot be as it seems!

I am attempting to lay in huge stocks of Wild Turkey in case, as you say catastrophe strikes. Unfortunately, the stocks never seem to increase, and I seem to be going thru an awful lot of Vit. B.
Webber is not known for B'sht, and he has now been quoted 3 times as saying he is in for a tough year. He simply says that the Money teams are going to swamp Williams/Cosworth by mid season, Bridgestone cannot supply a front tyre with enough adhesion AND durability, and he is getting pissed off with having to fight with everything he has for 5th or 6th place.
