The 2006 Malaysian F1 GP (Fisichella wins - Your thoughts ?)

One thing really troubles me about the Malaysian GP. Historically Ferrari have done everything they could to ensure Schuey garnered every single point early in the season. A number of times by bending, if not breaking, the team order rule.
Massa was on old tires when Schuey came out of the pits about 1 second behind him.
Schuey seemed to be easily match Massa's times, indeed he seemed to me to be quicker.
Ferrari could have easily ordered a tire change for Massa without raising too many eyebrrows.
Schuey said that Massa did not make a mistake and present an overtaking opportunity, there was hardly an opportunity at Monaco last year !

Maybe MS IS getting old (Nigel mansell once said you lose at least a tenth a lap for each kid you have, so maybe that is a good thing. Imagine the problems the rest of the guys would have if MS didnt have kids!)

Maybe Massa figures he has nothing to lose and everything to gain, after all he is only on a one year contract.

Maybe JT thought Massa would run out of fuel , His sweater must be interfering with his logic. Massa has said he didnt think he would make it and had to run as economically as possible.

Maybe Ferrari isn't as crooked as some people would like to believe.

Maybe RB isnt as fast as i thought , and heaven forbid, maybe JB is quick after all

Maybe i should shut up now

It seeme to me that this is a radical departure from "normal"

if the same situation had appeared in Rubens 2nd race for FERRARI the result would have been the same.

1000 of your conspiracy theories wont make me think Nelson, Johnnie, Eddie and Rubens moved over for Michael often. Michael was in 99,5 % faster than them and yes there was the A1-ring b0110cks when Rubens was punished for a great drive which was wrong. After that Michael was to be blamed for most of you guys even if he actually didnt ask for this gesture by his team.

No problem for Michael to finish behind Felipe in Sepang and if he still has his max. ability(Im sure he has) he will beat Felipe in most of the remaining GP ON MERIT. And Im not saying Felipe is a secon grade driver.

Do you rev limit the spools ? How many rpm do you run ? Is it muffled or free flow? Is there much "overtaping"?

Well...

The rev limiters are usually set to 15- or 30-ips [inches per second].

I prefer 33 1/3 rpm analog vinyl to digital CDs.

However, music distribution used to be muffled, but digital downloading has made flow much freer.

With tape recorders, you don't "overtape," but you can "overdub." Now with digital, there is such a thing as "oversampling."
