Re: Round of Saudi Arabia '21 - Picks and comments
I might as well get these out there.
Winner: Lewis Hamilton
Second: Max Verstappen
Third: Valtteri Bottas
Fourth: Sergio Perez
Fifth: Carlos Sainz
Sixth: Charles Leclerc
Seventh: Lando Norris
Eighth: Daniel Ricciardo
Ninth: Pierre Gasly
Tenth: Sebastian Vettel
Pole: Lewis Hamilton
For no other reason other than Mercedes are getting their act together at the right end of the season.
Max will try and the WDC will go down to the last race.

Re: Round of Saudi Arabia '21 - Picks and comments
As usual, CM Lean and I are in close agreement, tho' he has put Sebastian Vettel in the top ten this time. I hope he's right because I love Seb, but I just think there are too many faster machines
Now Lewis Hamilton MUST WIN this race AND the next one to claim his 8th WDC, so I hope he wins tomorrow. Anyway, unless a wall grabs Max or Lewis or some other bad luck strikes one or the other, if Max wins tonight the WDC is his. So, hoping for a race to the last lap of the season, I'm picking
1. Lewis Hamilton to win with a comfortable lead over Max
2 Max, driving carefully knows he only has to win one of these final two races and I don't think he'll risk trying it tomorrow. If anything happens to Lewis and he can comfortably take this race he will
3. Valeri Bottas will be ready to pounce if Max falters but in any case he'll hold Sergio up
4. Sergio Perez will miss the podium again
5, Pierre Gasly will put it all together and bring the AT Honda in for a change
6. Carlos Sainz will be close to Pierre and may indeed get by him
7. Fernando the Fox will start well but in the end he'll have to settle for 7th
8. Yuki Tsunoda will bring the other AT/Honda into the top ten and this bodes well for next year
9. Daniel Ricciardo will bring the McLaren/Merc in the points --he likes fast courses
10. The last point will be Estaban Ocon in the iother Alpine/Renault
Looking forward to a fun race under the lights and hoping the pit crews and safety car don't decide the race.
