FP3 took place under full wet conditions. A few drivers tried intermediates however returned to the pits after a couple of laps for full wets.
Sebastian Vettel brought out the red flag near the end of the session after losing his Aston Martin into the tyre wall.

Sebastian Vettel's Aston Martin was repaired and started in Q3. Unfortunately, all their efforts came to nought as he failed to progress to Q2.
AlphaTauri had a session that they would rather forget with both cars also failing to make Q2.
Sergio Perez had the time for his first run in Q2 deleted however the stewards reviewed to footage and reinstated the time. This did occur fairly late in the session and his running in the session was severely compromised.
In Max Verstappen's second run in Q3, he had power problems and failed to set a representative time.

Daniel Ricciardo incurred a 5 second penalty for causing a collision. This dropped him from 13th to 15th.
