I wouldnt write Kimi off just yet.

I liken him to a panther

(a term I previously reserved for one Michael Bevan <pause

end pause>).
A panther has tonnes of speed but also the ability to creep around when tactically appropriate. IMHO, Kimi is bitterly burnt from last year. If he had only backed off in two or three races, not broken the car, and gotten some points . . . things would have been very different.
At IMOLA, what good would it have done him pushing harder? He wouldnt have overtaken Webber on the track, and he wasnt far behind Webber at Webbo's 2nd stop. . . he did just about all he could after buggering the start

. . . but he didnt break the car, and he got points

. . . is that a different Kimi to last year?? I am hoping so?? Has Kimi become a panther? Able to creep around, and pounce only when appropriate??? I am hoping so!
As for Driver line ups next year. . . Kimi will stay. He is an assassin, hungry to make statement. Even if McLaren bombed out next year, Kimi would get a kick out of taking on FA in the same kit.
As for Fisi - he suffers ADHD IMHO.. . . concentrate boy. . . I put him behind JPM in terms of value. . . . he will be the last person picked in the school playground before the captains are forced to consider little fat kids with glasses, or japanese kids called Sato or Ide.
MS, he wont leave Ferrari. Rubens adventure would unnerve him, and what if he didnt get the same level of on track protection. (<quick blinky, duck, here comes the red cavalry>)
Nico and Mark. If Williams go backwards . . . those 2 could both up and leave . . . If Williams go forwards, neither will leave.
Button wont go anywhere - he cant. No one trust his contracts.
So - what do I think . . . I actually dont know after all that
Kovy to Renault . . . JPM to Honda. . . Rubens to Toyota . . . Trulli to ProDrive.
Today's mighty oak is yesterdays nut that held its ground. . . there is hope for us all.
