Now Raikkonen splits them, 0.3 behind Alonso!

Super Aguri are having a better day. So far Ide has completed 35 laps. His best time is over 8 seconds off the fastest time. Still progress over the 8 laps or so Sato did yesterday!

Now Montoya is 0.23 behind Alonso.

Best time at Barcelona in a 2006 spec car is a 1:15.928 by Nick Heidfeld in the BMW Sauber F1.06.

Webber has completed 37 laps but his best time is over 2 seconds off the pace. Rosberg has yet to set a time having completed just 2 laps!

The Williams team will be trying new bits, content that they already have the pace,......meantime Fisi is sitting just behind Alonso, on 3 fourths throttle and chuckling to himself. :knight:

And I can tell you, if I was to use an old model of some equipment (in my case, a badminton racquet) for much longer than the new one (Ed, how many days has he been in the F2004?), and only 4 days with the new equipment, I certainly will NOT be used to using the new one!
Don't have an exact figure Tap but his testing has been predominantly in the F2004 fitted with either a V8 or a restricted V10.

JayVee would probably have an exact figure

I think JV's last count was 4 runs in the new car :light:

Raikkonen now fastest 0.14 ahead of Alonso with Button in 3rd.

More red flags with Ide, Trulli and Albers stopping on the track!

Renault and McLaren have done over 100 laps each so far.

Red Bull just 6 laps (3 laps each car!)

Serious question.
With the Qualification regs for this season, if the Aguri cars are ridiculously slow will they still qualify? And become dangerous mobile chicanes ? And quite possibly/probably have a serious effect on the championship ? :light: Please, someone :bang: Geez I hate what Max is doing to F1. :box:

Woah...looks like it's heating up! Methinks it's gonna be gurrrddd!

:P

What's happening to the Toyotas??? :?
Both cars stopping, and both off the pace. Have they already got a finished car and are trying new things? Or have they got a bit of a cold shock from the times the lead-runners are doing and are in panic mode trying to tweak everything to get their cars to go faster?

Incidentally, are there any Toyota fans in here?

Thanks man, but I was actually referring to how many days he's done in the 248, in comparison to the F2004.

Absolutely! This is strategy...

Sh*t man. If they're an average of 8 - 10 seconds off the pace, then by my calculations, that means they'll be getting lapped every 8 laps or so!

And in a 60-lap race, that means they'll finish about 7 - 8 laps down! Well, that should easily answer the poll about who's going to finish last...
