the problem he has now is there aren't too many engine manufacturers left. OK Lexus is a different brand that they may wish to push BUT not at the expense of Toyota.

BMW won't supply Williams with the same engines, nor would Ferrari, Honda, Renault, Mercedes etc etc.

Unless General Motors decide to throw away some more cash that they don't have. Ford own a sh*tload of brands but won't re-enter F1. So Sir Frank had better get his magic wand ready because there doesn't seem to be too many genuinely competitive options left
There are no stupid questions, only stupid people.......

But look at who everyone supplies engines to. Each engine manufacturer supplies engines to teams that are not a threat to the factory team. Williams and Toyota are battling for position this year. This may not be an issue next year but Williams have the expertise to be a threat.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

BMW have just announced the official name of the team. The team will be called BMW Sauber F1 team. According to BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen
The new team name more or less chose itself. It reflects the makeup of the team - run by BMW but with a core of almost 300 Sauber employees. Plus, the 2006 car was developed by Sauber's proven engineers
BMW have retains Willy Rampf as the Technical Director at Hinwil while Heinz Paschen is the Technical Director at Munich where the entire powertrain will be built.

The new car will be presented on the 16th of January at Valencia in Spain.

On the 28th of this month in Barcelona BMW Sauber commence their winter testing programme with an interim car running the new BMW P86 engine.
